Strategic Plan of the School of Applied Science
alignment with Telkom University’s Strategic Plan, the Strategic Plan for the School of Applied Sciences was formulated with the aim of focusing programs more sharply on achieving the five-year targets, which are further detailed into annual targets. Building upon its existing achievements, Telkom University needs to continue and revitalize its vision and mission. This serves to reaffirm the organizational and institutional objectives of delivering quality education and making more significant contributions and service to Indonesian society in particular, and to the global community and the scholarly world in general.
Telkom University's long-term vision until 2038, according to the Development Master Plan (RENIP) is "To Become a Global Entrepreneurial University", as outlined in the 2014–2038 RENIP shown in the figure below. From the figure, we can see milestone every year starting from the merger process in 2013, then becoming world class university in 2018, research & entrepreneurial university in 2023, national excellence entrepreneurial university in 2028, world class entrepreneurial university in 2033, and become global entrepreneurial university at the end of 2038.

To achieve its long-term vision (RENIP), Telkom University has a number of five-year Strategic Plans (RENSTRA). Currently, Telkom University is in its fourth RENSTRA period, which focuses on research and entrepreneurial.This is supported by the University's position as Education Excellence,positioning Telkom University to move towards Education Excellence in Entrepreneurial University in 2024 as shown milestone in the image above. Telkom University is also establishing an integrated ecosystem and programs to support the target milestone education entrepreneurial university These include student involvement in entrepreneurship education, the independent learning program, independent campus, business incubation in the form of a startup ecosystem in each faculty and Bandung Techno Park.
In milestone In the next year, at 2025, Telkom University will develop research excellence in entrepreneurial university. This is shown by the achievement of ACEEU accreditation, the increase in the number of PUI-PT, national rankings in SINTA and Scopus, as well as achieving external research grants aligned with the SDGs theme. In 2026, Telkom University set the target as innovation excellence in entrepreneurial university with a focus on industrial innovation collaboration, industrial grants/funding, and the enhancement of SDG programs implemented within the community.
Furthermore, Telkom University will build partnership excellence in entrepreneurial university in 2027, as evidenced by indicators such as an increase in the number of patents implemented in the industry, the commercialization of SDG-based products, collaborations on laboratory infrastructure, and international research and publication partnerships. By the end of 2028, Telkom University is expected to achieve national excellence in entrepreneurial university with key indicators being success in strengthening collaboration with anchor industries within the SDGs program, graduate placement in multinational companies, achievements in QS WUR, THE WUR, QS AUR, THE AUR, and THE Impact Rankings, as well as proposals for TUNC campus branches.

To achieve the strategic objectives listed in the Telkom University Strategic Plan for the 2024-2028 period, strengthening the values/ value as the driving force of the organization, these values must be collectively upheld by the entire campus community. Therefore, Telkom University has established noble values to guide its organizational framework through Rector's Decree Number KR.0005/ORG11/P3I/2019 regarding Institutional Culture at Telkom University.
This orientation structuring entails adjustments and alignment regarding the institution's management philosophy and principles, particularly concerning staff behavioral patterns and institutional culture. Harmony, Excellence, and Integrity or what is called HEI, means HarmonyHarmony), Keunggulan (, Excellenceand Integrity.Integrity). Harmony Harmony is a commitment rooted in the principles of trust, togetherness, cooperation, mutual respect for differences, and a desire to take actions that bring about good for oneself and others. , Excellence Excellence is the ability to apply knowledge, skills, and attitudes to complete every job and task with the highest quality, for both oneself and one's environment. Integrity Integrity entails consistently maintaining an attitude that adheres to prevailing norms and ethics characterized by fostering good relationships with others, honesty, trustworthiness, independence, keeping promises, compliance, and upholding the truth.
