On Saturday, December 12, 2020, a Sharing Session was held with the theme “Global Diploma” with Mr. Rizqi Asdiana. He is an Alumni of D3 Telecommunication Technology in 2001 and is currently working at Qatar Petroleum.
This activity starts at 10.00 WIB to 12.00 WIB brought by Mrs. Tita Haryanti as a lecturer in D3 Telecommunication Technology at Telkom University through the ZOOM platform and broadcast live streaming on Youtube, Faculty of Applied Sciences.

This Sharing Session was opened by the Deputy Dean II of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, namely Mr. Agus Pratondo, S.T., M.T., Ph.D.
He explained how to prepare ourselves for the differences that exist in a new environment and how we learn to respect and how we can excel in competing with overseas people, usually, people tend to excel because they have to be associated with a very harsh environment.

Mr. Rizqi Asdiana has provided a lot of his experience from starting his career until now he is able to work for the Qatar Petroleum company. He provides information on why English plays an important role in communicating in the work environment because English is a medium for us to be able to convey opinions, communicate and negotiate with other people and must be with a high level of confidence to convey it and he believes that being studied in college even though it is a subject that is not liked, whatever you like is not necessarily good for you whatever you like is not necessarily bad so enjoy and take advantage of your study time.

Hopefully, the sharing session from Mr. Rizqi Asdiana provides a lot of motivation and description for D3 Telecommunication Technology students on how to prepare themselves and mentally to enter the world of work.
