The more intense the go green program launched by the government, the more recycling communities and the more waste banks there are. The Young Berseri Community in Rancatungku Village is one of the many waste banks that are actively processing waste in the surrounding area. The results from the processing of waste in the community are generally recycled into work products that can be resold. Supported by the digitization of various services, the waste bank is also included in the digitization of services. By digitizing waste bank services, waste banks can provide information about their activities and handicraft products.
The Collaborative Community Service Team (PkM-Kolab) consisting of lecturers from the Faculty of Applied Sciences (D3 Information Systems Study Program and D3 Application Software Engineering) together with the Faculty of Communication and Business (S1 Business Administration study program) held a community service activity with the title “ZeroWaste Desaku Go Digital My Waste Bank”. This activity also collaborates with students who are members of the StartUpHub.id community and KoRAL (Inter-Lab Research Community) in both Faculties and collaborates with Student Startup GoniGoni, which is a student startup engaged in all-in-one services for the Rancatungku Village Waste Bank. In this activity, the team provided a website for the Young Berseri community at the address mudaberseri.com which serves as a community identity. This website was created to help the Young Berseri community to share information about their activities. This website also provides information on what works are produced from the processing of waste banks in the community. In addition, the team of lecturers and startup GoniGoni was also involved in mentoring and presenting plans with the waste bank at Muda Berseri.

This PkM is part of a series of routine activities by the StartUpHub.id and KoRAL (Inter-Lab Research Community) communities in the two faculties to strengthen the Waste Bank in line with the government program of the Republic of Indonesia. At the end of the activity, it was closed with a webinar event on June 29, 2021, with the title “ZeroWaste Desaku Go Digital My Waste Bank” which was attended by the Berseri Muda community management, a team of lecturers, and students. And PkM activities with Young Berseri partners will be continued in the next period by student startup GoniGoni and a team of lecturers, so that sustainability is maintained and can help the Waste Bank to the maximum.
