On Wednesday, February 3, 2021, the RTM (Management Review Meeting) agenda was held again by the Faculty of Applied Sciences starting at 14.00 WIB.

This activity was attended by resource persons Mr. Lipur Sugiyanta, PhD, and Mr. Drs. Sudarsono and was attended by the Dean, Head of Study Program, and Head of KK of the Faculty of Applied Sciences.

Mr. Lipur Sugiyanta with Mr. Drs. Sudarsono explained the instruments and procedures in the Improvement of the Diploma 3 Program to Become an Applied Bachelor.

It was explained that to upgrade the diploma 3 program to an applied bachelor’s degree requires 3 instruments, namely the curriculum, lecturers, and study program management unit.

The “Curriculum” instrument has requirements, namely the Roadmap for Development of Study Program Specific Advantages, Curriculum Compilation Mechanism, Study Program Excellence, Graduate Profile, Learning Outcomes, Curriculum Structure, and Independent Campus Design.

The “Lecturer” instrument has requirements, namely profiles of permanent lecturers and industrial lecturers/practitioners.

The instrument “UPPS (Study Program Management Unit)” has requirements, namely cooperation benefits received by UPPS, permanent lecturers of Diploma Three Study Program who have attended training for the last 3 (three) years, Training for the last 3 (three) years, Number of product/work titles / permanent lecturer services for study programs, Diploma Three adopted by industry/society for the last 3 (three) years, Number of titles of education, research, or community service outcomes, produced by permanent lecturers of Diploma Three Study Program for 3 (three) years lastly, involvement in vocational high school development, interest in prospective students for the last 3 (three) years, academic and non-academic achievements of students in the last 3 (three) years, Absorption of graduates entering the world of work, independent, and sustainable entrepreneurship in a period of 3 (three) the last year, and Funding from Partners.

The program is not compulsory, specifically for D3 study programs that have been accredited at least “B” or very good.

With the implementation of the RTM agenda, it is hoped that it can provide more understanding to all Deans, Heads of Study Programs, and Head of KK of the Faculty of Applied Sciences in increasing diploma 3 graduates to become applied scholars.
