Student Executive Board of Faculty of Applied Sciences held Talkshow Sumpah Pemuda 2017. At the event  Mr. Dahlan Iskan and Mr. Ferry Mursyidan Baldan were present as a speaker. Dahlan Iskan asserts, youth should be smarter in capturing opportunities. Therefore, the current technological advancement allows the youth to be more creative in utilizing the business. At this event Mr Dahlan Iskan encourages students to become IT entrepreneurs. According to Dahlan, a successful entrepreneur is a figure who can take advantage of every opportunity that comes up.

Meanwhile, Mr. Ferry Mursyidan Baldan, Minister of Agrarian Affairs at the Working Cabinet volume I, tells of his journey from a campus activist to becoming a minister. He expects Tel-U students to be concerned with the problems that exist in their environment. The event was opened by Dr. Rina Pudji Astuti as Vice Rector IV Tel-U in the field of Student Affairs. Meanwhile, acting as moderator is Adhetya Ghazitha Kasim Miss Indonesia 2017 FInalist,  representative of Central Sulawesi and student of Telkom University majoring in communication science.
