On Tuesday, March 16, 2021, starting at 08.30 WIB until 12.30 WIB through the ZOOM platform for the D3 Information System study program, Telkom University held an industry lecture with the title “5 Elements of UX” with resource persons, Mrs. Anggita Prameswara Putri BA, MM from Lion Parcel (Lion Group) as Design Manager and Mr. Pramuko Aji, ST, MT as a moderator.
This industrial lecture activity was opened by the Head of the Information Systems D3 Study Program, Mr. Wawa Wikusna, S.T., M.Kom. He explained that the Information Systems D3 Study Program invited industry lecturers again in-class activities, especially classes relevant to the core courses in the Information Systems study program to present speakers from the industry to share experiences, knowledge, and skills implemented in the industrial world with the hope of enriching knowledge. and experiences for D3 SI students in addition to the material “obtained from the lecturers.
In this industrial lecture, Mrs. Anggita Prameswara Putri explained information for D3 SI students about 3 things, namely:
1. A review about the UX and why is it important?
2. Introduction to the “element of UX.”
3. Planning strategy
A. A review of the UX and why is it important? because UX is very influential on what will be produced because it can give different results so that being able to determine the result can be a success and failure
B. Introduction to the “element of UX. The UX element helps to understand all the problems in meeting the expectations, needs, or expectations of the user as well as from the business side.
The “UX” elements: there are 5 areas of the UX elements, namely surface, skeleton, structure, scope, and strategy
C. Planning strategy. According to Jesse James Garet, strategic planning, which is the basis of a successful user experience, is a strategy that is clearly articulated.
So that with the holding of industrial lecture activities, it is hoped that it can add information and knowledge to all D3 SI students so that it can be applied in lectures and the industrial world later.
